One of the key activities for anyone wishing to take in the awe inspiring landscape of the Scottish wilderness is to hike up one of of 100's of mountain ranges. While venturing up these long paths, it's not uncommon for many a hillwalker to take overnight refuge in a bothy. Although after a hard days walk taking rest in a bothy is a welcome pitstop, you can't always guarantee you are alone in these old and abandoned buildings. Sometimes other walkers will join you... and sometimes something more malevolent will watch you sleep. Listen in this week to stories from the most haunted both Ben Alder, as well as many more tales.
