The Mackenzie Poltergeist is one of the most infamous ghosts of all time. Who was George Mackenzie, and what is the history of the graveyard which he violently haunts? Join us this week as Olivia talks us through the history of Greyfriars Kirkyard, and what is called the world's first concentration camp, The Coventanters Prison. Here, prisoners were exposed to the open air without food, warmth or shelter. Many men perished at the disdainful treatment of Lord Mackenzie, who in turn gained the nickname 'Bloody Mackenzie'.
