Good morning. Michigan. I'm Aaron Jolly. That drizzle you woke up to? Already gone. Skies are brightening fast. And we've got a breezy, mild day ahead. Southeast Michigan climbs to 58 degrees this afternoon. West Michigan hits 55. Up north. Here comes 51. But those southwest winds are cranking. Gusts to 35 miles an hour statewide, with a few lakefront spots potentially hitting 40. It'll feel brisk even with the mild temps. Hold onto your hats. Tonight stays breezy under partly cloudy skies. Lows settle in the mid-40s. Those southwest winds keep blowing at 10 to 15 miles an hour. Monday brings even warmer air — 15 to 20 degrees above normal for early March. Southeast Michigan hits 66. West Michigan reaches 64. Northern Michigan climbs to 58. Sunshine dominates, though clouds increase late up north with a slight chance of rain showers near the Tip of the Mitt. For the week. Tuesday stays warm — mid to upper 60s down south — but rain showers develop in the afternoon and ramp up Tuesday night. Wednesday morning brings thunderstorms before colder air wraps in, switching rain to snow by Wednesday night. Northern Michigan could see accumulating snow Wednesday into Thursday. Thursday clears out, but another system brings snow chances late Thursday night into Friday. Temperatures crash — highs only in the 30s Thursday and Friday.
