Show Notes
In this episode, Zach Shaw and Steve Lorenz recap the Michigan football team's 21-7 loss to Illinois. They look at what went wrong for the Wolverines, and what it means moving forward now that Michigan is 4-3 on the season.
They open with a long look at what went wrong offensively. They look at the Wolverines’ inability to convert on productive dives, their continued struggles at quarterback, some hindsight concerns about Michigan’s offensive coaching staff and other topics about the offense after Michigan posted its lowest point total since 2014.
In the second half of the episode, they look at a defense that largely did its job on Saturday, a special teams unit that has increasingly become a liability for the Wolverines, and where Michigan goes from here, facing a sincere reality of a 6-6 or even 5-7 season.
