Show Notes

Zach Shaw and Steve Lorenz continue their annual position group preview series by looking at Michigan's safeties room.

They open with a look at some of the biggest strengths of the Wolverines' safety teams. They discuss the return of Makari Paige, the ascent of Zeke Berry and Brandyn Hillman and the additions of Wesley Walker and Jaden Mangham. Collectively, the safety room is one Shaw and Lorenz feel could be the deepest on the team.

They then look at some of the questions the room will have to answer. Shaw discusses concerns about the room’s tackling and a drop-off in coverage, while both discuss modified expectations for the room with Rod Moore out with injury.

They close by looking at some X-factor players for the room, and make bold predictions for the group in the 2024 season.
