Show Notes
If you watched the Republican National Convention, you may have seen Pastor Corey Brooks deliver the closing prayer on the second night in Milwaukee. Brooks is the senior pastor of New Beginnings Church of Chicago. He is also the founder and CEO of Project H.O.O.D. (Helping Others Obtain Destiny). He gained fame by spending 94 days living on the roof of the Super Motel across the street from his church to bring attention to the violence in his South Side Chicago neighborhood. Now, he’s building a new facility on the site of that demolished hotel to provide opportunities to his community. This is a special episode featuring a special man.
