Show Notes

Andy Martino and Jerry Blevins drop an all-new Shea Anything podcast presented by Verizon, as the Mets come up on the MLB Trade Deadline and the stretch run of the season. Jerry shares the story of how he was traded as a prospect in a July deal back in 2007, and also the view from the clubhouse with the Mets when they added talent mid-season in an effort to win. Andy and Jerry also look back at the infamous non-trade of Wilmer Flores in 2015, discuss the level of concern there should be around the health of Jacob deGrom, and face the fact that the Universal DH might be needed to keep pitchers healthy. Jerry also delivers a legendary movie as a Rain Delay Recommendation, but you’ll need a very long rain delay to watch it!
