Doug and Omar look at the reasons behind the Mets offensive struggles, and what a front office can do to help get a team out of a hitting funk. Omar also shares the stories behind the scouting, drafting, and development of Jacob deGrom, as well as the history of Matt Harvey, which included scouting him in 2020 for the Mets. They guys also discuss how Francisco Lindor’s adjustment to the team is similar to Carlos Beltran’s experience in 2005, and look back at how the 2006 NL East Championship team came together.
