Laura shares her professional history of adopting alternate personas, her time as pinup model and actress, how she was kicked out of the Louvre, and how 80’s pop culture and Washington Irving (the father of American literature) helped her become a published author. They talk about the influence of The Little Mermaid on culture and literature, what the next generation of mermaid stories might be, and why mermaids are so fascinating in the modern era.
