What's up y'all?!
In this week's spoken word diary entry, DaAujana reflects on what it truly means to feel alone in a room full of people- I know, it's a real thing- and she shares her stories and the first time she truly felt that she was all by herself even with others. She goes on to briefly talk about social anxiety and societal beauty standards and the impacts that they can have on self confidence, often times leading one to not feel completely comfortable enough to be themselves around others. Through this week's entry, DaAujana hopes to give y'all hope that even when we find ourselves in moments where we feel alone, we don't have to remain in those places- we can learn to instead show love to ourselves and find peace within those moments until time prompts us to move into the next moment.
