Making it to the professional ranks in any sport is against all odds. You battle the risk of injury, the consistent competitive grind, overcoming self-doubt, and much more. Baseball in particular presents an even greater number of factors working against each athlete in order to make the professional ranks. It's an amazing accomplishment to even make the major leagues, but to become an all-star is an even more remarkable accomplishment. Enter Joe Mantiply. Joe has played 9 years of professional baseball, and at 31 years old he finally had his break-out season, leading to the first all-star appearance of his professional career. Joe credits his success to his attention to detail and consistent approach to improving through intentional and focused practice each day. Joe's story is amazing and as two ex-baseball players, we enjoyed every minute of our conversation with him dissecting his mindset on becoming an All-Star.
