Your midday Maryland weather update
Two Special Weather Statements are in effect across Maryland today due to elevated wildfire risk. Despite recent light rainfall, dry conditions combined with low humidity and gusty northwest winds create dangerous fire spread potential through this afternoon. We started this Saturday morning at 34 degrees, with temperatures climbing steadily through 54 degrees by 1 P.M.
