Your midday Maryland weather update
A Wind Advisory takes effect across Maryland today as a strong weather system brings gusty conditions that could reach 50 miles per hour. These winds will create hazardous conditions throughout the state, particularly during the afternoon and evening hours when the strongest gusts are expected. This morning's rain will taper off by early afternoon, with the heaviest downpours occurring around 8 A.M.
