A Wind Advisory takes effect tonight across Western Maryland and the Alleghenies, where gusts could reach 50 miles per hour. This strong wind event will spread eastward overnight, affecting the entire state by dawn. Right now we're enjoying a mild Thursday afternoon with temperatures climbing toward 78 degrees by early evening.
