Pretty pleasant for late February. Now drive west on I-68 and it's a different story. Western Maryland is locked in winter's grip. Highs barely scratch 37 degrees with a steady west wind between 6 and 10 miles an hour. That's a 12 degree gap from Baltimore. Clear skies tonight mean the heat escapes fast. Lows plunge into the mid 20s out there. Bundle up if you're heading toward Deep Creek. Here's what's coming your way this week. Saturday keeps the good vibes rolling for Baltimore and Central Maryland. Highs near 50 degrees again. Western Maryland warms a touch into the low 40s.
