The most important thing in the Facebook ads game is your audience. And when you set up your ads initially you must let them run and accumulate data, this is called the Learning Phase. Letting the learning phase run is how you get the Facebook algorithm to work for you. Here’s the thing, there will come a time when you’ll want to make changes, but don’t make those changes in the campaigns that are already running as that will cause the learning phase of the algorithm to reset. There are many reasons the learning phase would reset and when that happens it will kill the accumulated information you’ve been gathering and you may very well see a drop in your campaign results. This is what you’ll be hearing about in this podcast. Is it a good idea to have a website for your business? Yes! But, is a website necessary for lead generation in your business? No! Sure, that could seem confusing at first, but with the use of Facebook’s lead ads, you can collect contact information from prospects without the person ever leaving Facebook. And since most people sign up for Facebook with their real email address and phone number you’ll have a much better chance of actually getting a hold of them when you reach out. And since their information is already in Facebook’s database it can easily auto-populate into your lead ad form when they click your ad. Getting started with social media marketing doesn’t have to be all that complex and confusing. In fact, there are 3 easy things you can do right now to jumpstart your social media marketing and you don’t even need a Facebook business page for the first two of them. These 3 things are competitor research, reverse engineering what those competitors are doing, and producing content that provides upfront value to people and then amplifying it. Once you complete steps 1 and 2 then you can set up your Facebook business page and perform step 3.
