Bruce shares his takeaways from his political experience, highlighting that politics is dominated by money and name recognition, rather than ideas. He also notes that politicians need to spend a fortune on marketing to compete, and that voters are often driven by name recognition. Bruce admits that he ran for Senate partly because he felt it was his duty to help his country, but he did not really want the job.
