What Is Integrity and the Authentic Self? Integrity and the authentic self is a lot more complicated than most people realize. It is easy to look around our world and identify those who society has defined as unauthentic and lacking integrity. What is most important in this discussion is that the universe, source, creation does not judge anyone no matter what you have done or what you will do in the future. Integrity and the authentic self is about relating with oneself. An inauthentic person isn’t just the individual who sold you a car with a tampered speedometer, an inauthentic person lacking integrity lies to themselves and the world around them about who they are and what they truly desire in the world, and they are everywhere.
