Your evening Maine weather update
We're tracking a complicated Wednesday statewide with six active weather alerts, including a significant Flood Warning for the Piscataquis River. While temperatures are climbing, ice jams and snow are creating distinct hazards for different parts of Maine. Expect a cold start with temperatures hovering around 25 degrees at 3 A.M., but we'll see a steady warm-up reaching 39 degrees by 5 P.M.
