And wind that's trying to rearrange your recycling bins. Temperatures are sitting around 22 degrees. The snow's done, but blowing snow is cutting visibility, especially along the coast. Today's your breather before the next round hits. Let's take a drive. Down in Portland, you'll hit 30 degrees around 3 P.M. The County reaches 26 degrees by 2 P.M., dropping to minus 1 by 5 A.M. Winds shift by 9 P.M., gusting to 16 around 5 A.M. Wind chill that'll freeze your eyelashes. Looking ahead.. Wednesday brings snow back, especially Downeast and Midcoast. One to four inches with messy travel. Thursday gives you partly sunny skies and 37 degrees. Friday cools slightly. Saturday's the gem. Highs flirting with 40 degrees. Then Sunday.. Arctic air crashes back in. Single digit highs up north. Wind chills diving to minus 20. That's the kind of cold that kills car batteries. Keep those phones charged tonight. I'll be watching this next system closely. That's your forecast — we'll be back tomorrow. Take care, folks!
