Gil Gillenwater is the founder and president of the Rancho Feliz Charitable Foundation, an award-winning nonprofit dedicated to long-term, dignity-centered service in the U.S.–Mexico borderlands.

His work has been recognized with Arizona's highest honor for volunteerism, as well as formal recognition from Mexican authorities. Gil is also the author of Hope on the Border, a deeply human account of life and service in the borderlands, highlighting both hard realities and quiet acts of redemption.
