Episode 51 - Binge TV

This week we look at the relatively new phenomenon of binge-watching television shows. Now that entire seasons are streaming, we can all crack out on our favorite shows and watch our favorites for days on end without being interrupted by lame commercials, obnoxious season-ending cliffhangers, overrated sleep, pesky jobs, or even the horror of other people. Shows are even designed to hold your attention for as long as you can sit there without soiling yourself. While “Orange is the New Black” and “Handmaid’s Tale” were written for streaming, there are a lot of shows from the past that also arc over the course of several seasons.
