Episode 215 - 1408

This week we discuss the largely underrated horror movie 1408, one of the last really good John Cusack films. 1408 is one of those mood-driven scary movies that doesn’t rely on jump scares (though there are a couple), gore, or teenagers being picked off. It’s also the only movie I’m aware of that uses the concept of “noclipping out of reality.” If you’re familiar with The Backrooms, you know what I’m talking about. (Go look it up on Reddit. It’s pretty creepy.) If you haven’t seen 1408 before, though, this will be a SPOILER FILLED review. So maybe go watch it first.
