Show Notes

Laura’s journey is one of resilience, redemption, and the life-changing power of running.

After battling addiction and some of the toughest moments of her life, Laura found a way forward through running. What started as a step toward healing turned into a powerful transformation — one that would eventually lead her to the marathon finish line.

In this episode, Laura shares her honest story of struggle, recovery, and how putting one foot in front of the other helped her rebuild her life.

Now, her journey continues.

In 2026, Laura will once again be running the iconic 26.2 miles, but this time it’s even more special. She has the incredible honour of representing FORDY RUNS Running Club at the London Marathon — one of the most famous marathons in the world.

Her story is proof that running can be more than a sport.

For some, it becomes a lifeline.

If you’ve ever wondered how running can transform a life, Laura’s story will stay with you.
