Show Notes

In today’s episode, Amanda sits down over some Vespers with Bisexual actor, writer, director, producer, and activist Ashley Comeau (She The People, The Boyz, Odd Squad) to discuss her fascination with death, career-altering advice she got from Paul Feig, and what’s surprised her most about working in the entertainment industry. Ashley is a Second City mainstage alumnae, a member of the all-female, award-winning She The People cast, and performs internationally with her sketch and improv troupe Lusty Mannequins. You’ve seen her acting on screen in shows like The Boys, Odd Squad, and Degrassi, and she’s worked behind the scenes on shows like Chef In Your Ear, Haunted Hospital and Tallboyz. She also created the Mama City Improv Festival, an annual international improv comedy festival which she puts on in Cape Town, South Africa. You can see Ashley performing live online Girls Night In, a hilarious, internationally acclaimed virtual comedy show featuring female performers.
