The Bible says that without vision people perish. They cast off restraint. It's true. I do believe that the worst thing you can do for a child is to give them a parent with no vision either for themselves or for that child.
The opposite is also true. The best thing you can do for a child is to give them vision of the best possible outcome, and also have a vision for yourself as a parent, guardian, or anyone in authority over that child.
When your child tells you that they are bored, it is a sign that you have not given them vision or created an environment for engagement of any vision, however big or small. Listen to this.
