Children are impressionable and malleable. Just about the same way that religious people are but let me not digress. My point is that it is possible for a child to follow course that they have been put on and go through it in absolute trust and blindness. Yikes!
So when we tell our children to study hard so that they can get a job and escape hardship and poverty, guess what? That is exactly what they do by the billions around the world.
Who takes time to cast vision for them? Vision for leadership? Impact? Transformation of the world? Creation and invention and innovation of things? If we don't do this, the default takes shape. They grow up to "Make it in life" whatever that means. Listen to this.
