There are two major schools of thought in life. First, there is that which focuses intensely on results...in the now, immediately. Now matters more than tomorrow, for tomorrow we do not know what will happen.
There is another school of thought that looks at today as a seed. It honours processes, systems, time, and patience. Few subscribe to this. Unfortunately, when it comes to nurturing gifts and talents, this is the most plausible school of thought to use.
Our gifts and talents, and those of our children do have a great place in society. The problem is that we are in the "ignore" mode because someone somewhere told us that they do not make sense in life. Not anymore. Listen to this.
