Every now and then, I give people assignments to do regarding the following: Writing their obituary and epitaph. It forces you to think about the impact that you left on the earth.
Invariably, people seldom want to do this assignment or complete it. It is tasking, involving and of course, ominous. However, thinking about your last day on the earth puts focus on how you will live your life.
On the cross, one of the last words that Jesus spoke were, "It is finished". Perhaps, those would be the most powerful words we can ever speak when our lives come to a close. Listen to this.
