Show Notes
Today’s show topics included:
Discussion of many aspects of the FBI raid on Mar-a-Lago, including who may have authorized it, how should the Secret Service act when confronted by the FBI, did any LEO’s refuse to take part in the operation, Dan Bongino (who usually defends LEO’s) stating that they no longer deserve any deference to their claims of “just following orders”, the reactions (good and bad) of politicians and pundits on both sides of the aisle and the danger this raid presents to every citizen; questions were raised as to rights of suspects in criminal investigations, are they able to witness searches of their own premises and what should be the limits on police getting evidence off smartphones. We also briefly discussed the uproar on the left against Facebook for acceding to a warrant in a case related to abortion and how the left is increasingly eating its own. Mike closed with a shout-out to the late Olivia Newton John who stayed clear of politics and scandal and will be missed.
