Our guest is Robert Enlow, the president and CEO of Ed Choice, an organization that carries on the legacy of Milton and Rose Friedman. We explore the history of the school choice movement and its evolution into what they now call educational freedom. We discuss the goal of allowing parents to have the freedom to choose the best educational option for their children, whether it be public, charter, non-public, or alternative schooling. We also address common criticisms and misconceptions surrounding school choice, including the concern of equality of opportunity and the belief that some parents may be easily deceived.
