It was last month that British weightlifter Ryan Lucas-Lowther decided to open about his sexuality in a conversation for Pride Month.
We saw it – and if you listen to this show, you probably did as well – which is why we’re so delighted to get him onto the podcast to talk about his journey in full.
He’s one of only a handful of weightlifters that we’ve had on the podcast before, so it was a chance for us to really delve into the sport – and Ryan’s journey, both in it and away from it as well.
We talk about whether he was sporty growing up; his journey into fitness and weightlifting; some of his highlights in the sport; understanding his sexuality and being out and open about it – it really is a top conversation with a great guest that we think you’re going to love.
