As I did more research, I was plunged into a rabbit hole of research and it turned out to be much more complicated than I first realised! I see a lot of writing mistakes with learners struggling with parallel structures, or parallelism. This is where features in a sentence have to follow the same grammatical patterns to sound natural.It may sound a bit confusing, but honestly, it's fairly simple once you understand the main idea. Today, I decided to do a more casual and relaxed episode since I'm still a bit ill at the time of recording. As you might know, English isn't like how we find it in textbooks. I spoke about 14 TV shows to improve your British English in episode 22 of the podcast.Since then, I've got a lot of requests to make a Part 2. To be honest, I don't watch much TV so I struggle to make a good list.
