I lied to y’all originally, but it wasn’t a lie at the time. I said I was gonna bring 8 ball champ to ground kontrol. I had an issue and couldn’t bring it. So high hand came instead.

I’m going to pick up a Led Zeppelin. In this episode, I talk about it. When I was a kid, I used to like it when this jockey is on the radio would say “and now he’s a little Led for your head” that’s why I chose that title for the episode.

I think Kurt Vile was on the Flaming Lips, Modest Mouse tour and just left it maybe ended their summer tour. The flaming lips canceled shows today because of some kind of family emergency and I have tickets to the Modest Mouse Foaming Lips shows next month here in Portland. I hope everybody’s OK. In this episode, Nate airs out his frustrations with Black Knight, swords of rage and being tricked by the Left Out Lane ball save flashing, but then not getting a ball save. Y’all I have to learn that you only get that if the insert is lit solid. I’m going to start telling stories on the podcast about Portland Pinball of the past. The people, the events, the venues, the interesting stuff and none of a not interesting stuff. First stories about how I met, my friend Terry. The dude is a Portland Pinball legend. The image for this episode is of some shelves that I built yesterday. Live edge redwood that I found on the side of the road. I didn’t have any other pictures to add to the episode so that’s what you get.

I think more people should have little tiny micro podcasts like the Lents Pinball Pinball Podcast. Small things are cute.

Night walking

No ramps, No Ball Saves, No Bullshit

Harold and I go on a walk. I have pockets full of apples to take home and juice. I forgot to explain to listeners that this podcast is always over in under 3 minutes and now I have extreme anxiety that listeners will be confused as to why the podcast was so short.

The Wedgehead King Kong is setup perfectly hard. It’s mean and has gaffled me for weeks haunting moments in my day that should be used for daydreaming. New Gortlieb came out today.

I got a call from a pal about buying some games a few hours away from Portland. Too good to be true?! Maybe, but dang I hope not. I GCed the Sorcerer at Black Water yesterday so I made it the image for this episode as a brag.

We are coming close to the end of season one of the podcast. In this episode, Nate talks about a good pinball day and the end of season one of the podcast. He also explains how season two is gonna be chill and will be a chill time.

Robert Vandezande’s High Hand that was purchased at. Bishop Dwenger High School charity auction in 1984 is making its public debut in Portland. Robert is my grandfather and I “inherited” the game when he passed a handful of years ago. Inherited is in quotes because the game was almost given away with a pool table after my grandfathers passing. I quickly scheduled a freight pickup and had the game shipped to Oregon. A lot of history in this machine. I’d love to tell the stories in more detail. Also I have new Gortlieb hats.

Poor Harold is having some issues after his neuter. He is ok. I pre ordered nudge magazine #5. I didn’t mention this in the podcast, but Nudge, I hate that article about beating good players by talking to them between balls. Please send me both bumper stickers.

Today we talk about having an apprentice. Help the people get into the Pinball industry. I need to be more aware of the three minute time. I went over today and it’s only episode three. Need to be more thoughtful and wrapping up these episodes as we get more and more popular people are gonna hold me accountable..
