Today I read a story that former Vice President Pence is afraid for his life, all because rabid Trump supporters are still angry that he would not do the impossible and overturn the election results to keep their hero in office.
It’s no wonder, as they were yelling “Hang Mike Pence” on January 6 when they broke into the U.S. Capitol, having erected an actual gallows complete with a noose outside.
There is no sign that this hate and division that caused all of this is going to go away any time soon, and now we have a warning from the federal government that we could be in for renewed terrorist attacks – from our own citizens.
And, I shudder to think what they will do if the Senate, unlikely as it seems, convicts Trump for inciting the insurrection and bans him from ever holding public office again.
