This morning I saw a piece on MSNBC about some nurses who were caring for Covid-19 patients who took the time to present a patient, who had been hospitalized for more than a month, with a Happy Birthday song and a special cupcake.It was an act of kindness on an incredibly busy day for these nurses, all of whom along with all other healthcare workers, cannot be appreciated enough.Today’s podcast focuses on that and includes the story of one nurse, an Air Force veteran, who simply has had enough of the stress, the heartache, the bone weariness that she’s been dealing with since the pandemic began.So, take a listen to “Thanking Our Healthcare Heroes” from Not Fake News.biz.
