Show Notes

Jonas and James discuss the shocking news released by the Maple Leafs Wednesday morning, announcing that 2020 first round pick Rodion Amirov has been battling a brain tumour.

The boys analyze the trade with Arizona, sending Nick Ritchie to the desert for defenseman Ilya Lyubushkin and forward Ryan Dzingel. Jonas and James breakdown the play of Lyubushkin in his debut in the loss to Columbus last night and lament the loss of Dzingel to San Jose via waivers as a player they could have used to strengthen their forward depth.

The guys also breakdown what is going wrong with the Maple Leafs, as the team has dropped 3 games in a row for the first time since October with goaltending, 5 on 5 play, defence and John Tavares's second line struggles and Jake Muzzin's latest injury dominating the Leafs current tailspin.
