The White House announced that recent inflation is not temporary and will likely continue through the start of 2022. With the cost of gas, food, and some commercial items continuing to inflate, passing the social safety net legislation may prove more difficult with moderate senators expressing economic concerns.
The trial of three men charged in the murder of Ahmaud Arbery began today in Glynn County, Georgia. Arbery was on a jog when the men pursued him to conduct a citizen's arrest. The pursuit was recorded on one of the defendant’s cellphone.
