It was the start of a perfect weekend in September 2009 when 61-year-old Melvin Nadel - black belt, seasoned bowhunter, and respected gym owner - set out on a hunting trip near Pecos, New Mexico.
While his friends ventured out, Mel stayed near camp. But when they returned before dark, he was gone.
