Charlie Hughes traveled to Costa Rica looking for something—sun, connection, maybe even a fresh start. But in August 2019, in the quiet town of Puerto Jiménez, he vanished without a trace.
He left his belongings behind. His rental car was later found submerged in a remote river. And the man he had gone there to visit raised more questions than answers.
