Like everyone, I am always finding myself in need of direction for my life. Honestly, I’ve always struggled with decision making, having confidence in the things that God instructs me to do, decision paralysis, and self-doubt. God has been freeing me from hesitance, disobedience, fear, and lack of trust.In this episode we dissect scripture about God’s voice in the midst of our rebellion and disobedience. We are sometimes like the people of Judah because we neglect God and don’t always listen well. God highlighted a common misconception and shifted my mind to the fact that once we are spiritually mature, sometimes we are to take the first step THEN the teacher/holy spirit will let us know where to head. He’ll always correct us if we misstep and sometimes He tells us to be still but that’s why we have to SPEND TIME WITH HIM to know what His instructions are.Takeaways:God is always speaking, but are we always listening? God is guiding my journey and I am doing my best to submit to His timeline.Business is up and down.In this week’s episode, we explore my transition from a overworked, underpaid, burned out, self-reliant, entrepreneur who was simultaneously holding down a salary job to a NOW Holy Spirit reliant, faith filled, stay at home momprenuer who’s resting on God’s promises and taking her business a day at a time. I have been coming out of old unhealthy mindsets surrounding the way I expected myself to show up in business and also allowing God to transform my perception of my business journey! In this episode, we talk about trusting God’s timing with HIS will for our lives. Also, what role a sense of community plays in our purpose being carried out. I talk through some of my inner thoughts about what I want to do with my life! I don’t have a lot of things figured out and I’m finding my place in my purpose. I am in a space of keeping my ear peeled for God’s direction in my life and am ready to walk in boldness in the spaces he wants me to occupy and accepting the redirection from the places he doesn’t.Takeaways:We are not praying away God’s loving correction and the development of our character. Thundering thoughts are crashing against each other, against everything and everyone. Bloodthirsty for attention they fight for mine. Waves of ideas, unexplored ideas, tasks, unfinished tasks, everything seemingly undone. Until I am undone just the same. Lord, you make the wind and waves obey so make my thoughts behave. Calm the waves. I am gifting to these thoughts a home. I write so they feel seen. Thoughts, hey I see you. We all want to feel and BE seen. Every thing and everyone. Even thoughts. Too deep? No, they NEED to be seen. Too true? Maybe, but they say something. Thoughts are saying something. Even if I am the only one listening to the thoughts begging to be wondered. Wondering why they are imparted into so many but rarely given space. Without a shadow of a doubt, they will move in and make space if you do not appoint them one. You can try, but thoughts refuse to be ignored. They need direction. They all serve a purpose. They show us who we are. Thoughts reveal our direction and purpose because they lead us. What’s leading you? Where we are, and where we need to go. Redirect, reconnect, disconnect. Writing is a home for my thoughts…a place to go. Where do your thoughts know to go?

This is for my girlies who grew up too fast and life whipped them right on into shape. I've always been called "mature for my age" and I've never felt truly connected to my generation. Baby if that's you, give yourself some grace. Give yourself permission to slow down, seek wisdom, heal from your childhood, and embrace your new identity.Everything is going to be 0-k!!!! All things work together for the good of those who love the Lord.

We also explored what dynamics contribute to a lessened togetherness that used to be prominent and valued in our community. In this episode we talk about what’s necessary to bridge the gap and cultivate more love within women to women relationships.

This archived episode was recorded in March of 2024 and takes place when I was in a rough patch trying to balance it all, stay diligent in spiritual warfare, and steward the ministry of my podcast well. Fam, I’m going to tell you right now I’m in rare form during this episode b/c I was really babbling and venting. Can y’all tell I was tired lol? Anyway! Honey I was pushing through all the fatigue and my phone ringing off the hooook!

When you commit to healing you don’t get to choose what that looks like because you relinquish control if healing is done properly. It’s vulnerable, naked, and scary when you do it God’s way. When you aren’t numbing the pain and you’re choosing to feel it all it can be crushing. Healing is so crushing that sometimes people marry the idea that they won’t be able to continue out without self-medicating and healing.

Have you ever had a moment that you weren't proud of that you could have handled differently? Yeah me too. In this episode you will hear me walk through God shifting my perspective from "Mama Bear" to humble servant. God checked me for checking somebody. I called myself ready to smack somebody like I forgot who I belong to(Christ). The enemy is tactful and persistent so we have to stay in a position of being yielded to the holy spirit. I almost allowed my emotions to land me somewhere I did not want to be.We must be led by the spirit and operate in the fruits!

When most people think of grief they think of physical death. What some people don’t know is, you can grief all kinds of things! People, relationships, jobs, personal items, are all things to be grieved. Well, listen as I work through some of my feelings about grieving my old identity before becoming a mother/wife.
