[EP 25-162] Here's why China’s in trouble:
Their whole economy was basically a knockoff of America’s — and like most knockoffs, it worked… until it didn’t. The “Chinese Miracle” wasn’t a miracle — it was a discount bin strategy:
• Open the market
• Sell stuff made by people who earn less than the cost of a Starbucks napkin
• Ignore safety standards like they’re Terms & Conditions
• Let Western CEOs swim in profit like Scrooge McDuck It worked. For a while. But China forgot a very important rule of global economics:
If your business plan can be done by Bangladesh in flip-flops, you are not special. And then came their biggest miscalculation:
They thought American elites — the same people who wear $600 ties and eat salad with two forks — would protect them forever.
Because, you know, money. But then TRUMP showed up — like a bouncer at a Communist karaoke bar:
"Time's up, Beijing. Pack it up. The show's over."
