The human body is an unforgiving truth teller. You can lie to your friends, your coworkers, your spouse, and even your therapist. But your body keeps receipts.
A rational person understands this early. Eat decently. Move occasionally. Get checked out once in a while. You do not need to be a triathlete or live on kale smoothies. You just need awareness. When something feels off, you investigate. Tightness in the chest is not a suggestion. It is a warning label.
Healthy people catch problems early. They adjust. They survive.
Unhealthy people do something else entirely. They normalize decline. This is where the Democratic Party lives.
If the GOP is a middle-aged guy who gets a weird lab result and immediately Googles it, schedules a follow up, and cuts back on sugar, Democrats are the cast of My 600 Pound Life yelling at the scale because it refuses to validate their feelings.
