Let’s start with Social Security. You like having control of your 401K, right? You get to pick your stocks, tweak your portfolio, maybe even feel like a Wall Street hotshot for a day.
But Social Security? Oh, no, no, no. That’s 15% of your hard-earned cash snatched from your paycheck the second you clock in, locked away in a government vault guarded by bureaucrats who couldn’t balance a checkbook if it came with an abacus. You don’t get a say in where it goes, how it’s invested, or if it’s even there when you retire. It’s like giving your life savings to a casino and hoping they don’t swap out the slot machines for a “better system.” Spoiler alert: the house always wins.
