Tonight I sit down with author Sidney Pines to dig into how 2020 changed America—and why she started documenting everything she was seeing and feeling. We talk about her law-enforcement-informed perspective, the media environment, election controversies, and how a private family journal evolved into her Patriot’s Diary series.
Sidney shares the heart behind her writing: helping families understand each other across today’s deep political divides and preserving a record for her future grandkids. We also touch on censorship, TDS, faith, and what it means to stay grounded while sifting through claims, “conspiracy theories,” and hard truths.
Sidney’s first book, Awakening: A Patriot’s Diary of American Deception, tracks her early observations and research from 2019–2021, while book two, Golden Age Rising, explores today’s climate, from media narratives to cultural flashpoints and why she’s continuing the series into a third installment.
