The future of Railtown, Vancouver’s vital centre of technology businesses, is in jeopardy due to a number of ill-considered proposed zoning amendments intended to recapture the neighbourhood’s industrial past.
That’s the assessment of a group of Railtown technology companies and property owners that have banded together to persuade the city to abandon the proposed amendments and prevent the gutting of what has become a thriving hub.
