All dads are unique in their own way; but rather than celebrating their diversities, men continue to face social pressure to maintain traditional “masculine” gender roles. As a result, men are far less likely than women to seek medical attention when they need it, largely because they associate seeking help with “powerlessness, vulnerability, and a loss of masculinity.”
