Stanley Park bike lane, Investing in transit, & BC child poverty

The Vancouver Park Board has officially voted on the future of the Stanley Park bike lane.

Thanks to Canadian Red Cross donors, the Government of Canada match of $10 million has been reached as of February 12, 2023. The donations will provide vital humanitarian assistance to people impacted by the earthquakes in Turkey and Syria.

The Mayors’ Council is beginning the push for renewed federal investments in transit.

The BC child poverty rate hit a record low in 2022!
