Service Canada Must Now Use Gender-Neutral Language

Service Canada employees who interact with the public must now use ‘gender-neutral language or gender-inclusive language,’ according documents obtained by CBC/Radio Canada. The front-line staff are being asked to stay away from using terms such as Mr., Mrs., father and mother.
