The Pivot Legal Society is calling fro an overhaul of the Protections and Exploited Persons Act, saying it does not protect sex workers from exploitation and violence. A report by Pivot Legal released this week entitled 'Evaluating Canada's Sex Work Laws: The Case for Repeal" says the PCEPA 'threatens the physical and economic security of sex workers" and calls the Act 'unconstitutional'.
